honestly i dont know where you can find this list, but take in consideration that normally light weapons have a faster backstab movement, but in absolute the the piercing sword are the faster, dagger doing more damage in backstab, and well straight sword are the best weapons in general XP
Didn't get here fast enough to say "inb4 we argue over 'exploit' vs 'mechanic'". It's an argument as old as Dark Souls. In any case, whatever people want to call it, it was pretty horseshit. All of it. The whole Dark Souls PvP. I wanted so badly to like it, because it was awesome on paper. In practice it was broken.
The first part of the attack window is grazing your parry tool, costing you health and stamina, but on the follow through of the attack, you're still within range of being hit but you're in the right area for a parry, so the double back allowing you to riposte them. Can't help you with backstabs though, sounds like you just gotta get there

The default button layout is pretty bad, but there are some easy ways to fix it.
